Nicki Minaj was snapped (along with Rihanna) on the set of her upcoming ‘Fly’ video off of her now certified platinum selling ‘Pink Friday’ album. The rapper-singer-songwriter-actress also recently shot the video for ‘Moment 4 Life’ with her Young Money label mate Drake. Both videos are set to be released in the coming weeks.

Jazmine Sullivan has an upcoming album, and I got the chance to listen and review it through internet album leaks before it hits shelves..

I have always been a fan of Jazmine Sullivan’s voice.. always. I can’t say that her first album effort was among the best but something about her voice.. about her message had me from the beginning. I stayed a fan because I knew that Jazmine had more to offer other than the fact that she was ‘Fearless’.

A fellow native of Philly (*fist pump*), Jazmine definitely delivers with this album.

You can tell that she was coming from a place of experience with this one; a place that’s real.  You can feel her hurt, her want, and her dire need.

From scorned soul pieces like ‘Good Enough’ which gives me same vibe and chill of a late 60s/early 70s Aretha Franklin, to funky ballads like ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ that remind me of a late 80s Whitney Houston, to even lighter ones like ‘Love Me Long Time’ in which she seemed to just be having fun with — this album is definitely more on the versatile side all the while managing to stay true to Jazmine’s Soul/R&B nature.

Jazmine saaangs the hell out of this album like she broke her own damn heart, and blame you for that sh-t!

This one is most certainly a must have on the iPod and CD shelf!

Nicki Minaj made an appearance at the MAC Store in Times Square yesterday to unveil her all new luscious lip..

color (got ya!).

The name of this new pretty and pink color? Pink 4 Friday, of course, in celebration of her debut album release. This special edition lip color will be available starting Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), and for 4 following Fridays ( try and say that 4 times fast) while the items are still available.

Beyonce did an interview with ABC’S ‘Nightline’ recently as promotion for her upcoming ‘I Am..’ DVD/ABC Thanksgiving special..

She discussed various things like the details surrounding the perfecting of her tours and shows, some of her personal life, why she likes to be challanged, and more.

I cannot believe this woman has the time to do work 9 days in a row, please her fans (AND husband), direct and perform all the while working ‘Final Cut’ on her MacBook.

This just proves why she’s better than your fave.
